Following a call from director Steve Cutts, I was asked to voice this very important video about water for Unesco.
The Unesco voiceover came following a call from director Steve Cutts asking if i'd like to be involved in the Water Rooms project. The project was "The Water Rooms" a journey into the world of freshwater resources. A really interesting topic and great short film. We felt this style of delivery really suited the piece. It's a real poignant film. Watch and be inspired (I hope). This is an example of how effective explainer videos can be; they help you get across complex subjects with the combination of animation and voiceover — a little like this home composting video .
UNESCO is responsible for coordinating international cooperation in education, science, culture and communication.
It strengthens the ties between nations and societies, and mobilizes the wider public so that each child and citizen.
UNESCO's messages are of increasing importance today, in a globalized world where interconnections and diversity must serve as opportunities to build peace in the minds of men and women. This is the kind of explainer video I love to be part of as I'm sure it'll help make a difference. Sometimes, the only way to get the message across is to produce a particularly high-quality video.
