Just me, Guy Harris, explaining how composting works.
The more we learn about the environment and our impact on it, the more important it is for us to conserve energy wherever we can and to reduce our waste. That’s why Warwickshire County Council made this home-composting explainer video. There’s been a big green revolution in the UK and we’re getting really good at recycling, but there are a lot of questions about what can and can’t go into our compost bins, so this explainer video should be really helpful. I love doing explainer videos as I think they’re the best way to give a lot of information to an audience in a quick and easy format. Anyone who’s ever tried to make compost at home will know that there’s a lot more to it that just chucking all your food waste into a bin and hoping for the best. There has to be the right amount of heat, the right combination of nitrogen-rich and carbon-rich ingredients. If you add too much of the wrong thing or not enough of the right thing, the chemistry goes all wrong and it can slow down or completely halt the composting process. It’s great to see councils like Warwickshire County Council taking some initiative and promoting home composting. You can visit the explainer video at its home on the Warwickshire Country Council Composting page, which also has a range of helpful guides about all-things-composting.
If you’re making an explainer video and you’re in need of voiceover, then I’m definitely interested in working with you.
