Who is the voice of Hotels.com? Turns out it's me for this year. You know it. "Because Just in case"
It was genuinely my pleasure to work with the people over at Hotels.com. They sent me over the script and asked for a clear and friendly voiceover style; I showed them a few of my commercial voiceovers and we settled on a style that we all felt was a good fit for the advertisement. The result is pretty great, in my opinion. In times when people are justifiably cautious about travelling, short ads and explainer videos that convey flexible booking will always help travel companies reassure customers. If you'd like to hear a couple more voiceovers similar to this, check out my Barclaycard voiceover.
With a brand name that is very much to the point, Hotels.com sells hotel rooms in countries all around the world. They have an app that makes it easy for users to find the right product for them. Hotels.com is actually part of the much larger Expedia Group of travel companies, which is based in Texas, in the US. I love working with travel companies and it's great to see a tourism company making an effort to offer genuinely helpful flexible booking features. This is reassuring and it's a fair way to treat customers.
Are you working on a project that needs a voiceover style similar to this voiceover I provided for Hotels.com's commercial? Whether it's a new commercial voiceover, an explainer video, or something altogether unique, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I have my own home studio, I can usually provide voiceover on the same day it's requested. I'd be happy to provide a custom sample from your script to help you decide if right for your project.
