Another year, another award at the Vox Awards!
2018 was a great year for me. If you take a look at my blog, you'll see that I provided voiceover for more brands than ever, and that the range of industries I work with continues to diversify. I don't need awards or nominations to know I've been doing a good job, as I get plenty of feedback and referrals from clients. However, awards certainly do make me happy. This year, I had three nominations and one win. I won Best Retail Service Message for my Halloween Voice on the til in Poundland and I was nominated for my Seat Hidden Heroes explainer video and my Renault explainer video.
Needless to say, I'm not as young as I used to be and I'm one of the most experienced UK voiceover artists, so I've been to several Vox awards in the past, and I've been nominated for (and won) previous awards. However, getting an award for my passion, my vocation, never gets old and I was really happy to be recognised by Vox. The VOX Awards 2018 was an incredible event and it was my privilege to be part of the awards. The VOX Awards have been going since 1994 and they're getting more and more popular each year. I hope I'll get nominated next year as well!
If you're dying to give me an award, or if you'd like to work with me on your next project, please feel free to get in touch. I have been nominated for my voiceover work on explainer videos, commercial, and even video game trailers, so click on the links to hear more! However, if you need a little hand making up your mind, I am more than happy to provide a free sample of your script.
If you would like to know more please get in touch.
