I love providing voiceover for game trailers as they're all so different and often a little more creative than some standard commercials for other products. Along with movie trailers, game trailers are trying to tell a story in a short period of time. They asked me to provide a tough, grizzled American accent — someone who's been through the wars (literally) and I'm really chuffed with the end result!

What is This War of Mine?

This War of Mine provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle. For the very first time you do not play as an elite soldier, rather a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city. The trailer perfectly captures the game's tone, which tries to offer gamers a gritty, realistic look at war. This is a tough game to play, but it was a breeze to provide the voiceover for! It's also worth saying that this game got 8.4 on IGN's review and 10/10 on Steam.
